| We were met at the airport and driven to our houses |
| In the evening we watched a slide show about the island and its plants. Those who had got up at 2 a.m. found it hard to stay awake. |

Met a long- furred blue cat called Baby and his owner. The cat was sitting on a gate post with a bowl of cat food protected from the dogs milling around in the yard. We also saw a pig with a harness for 'walkies' who apparently accepts tribute. Later in the week we took him some marmite sandwiches which were up to grunt. |
